Working with Jenny was such a pleasure. At my first meeting with Jenny I knew just by her enthusiasm that we would work well together. My enthusiasm peaked just a day or two after our meeting when I saw her sing at the Los Angeles venue, the Mint. I was amazed by her voice, stage presence and the overall mood she and her music created in the room. I remember the chatty room, silenced by the first word at the start of her set, ,Temper Temper,.
Both shoot days were a success due to organization by my Production Manager Jacqualine Cross and the diligence of my AD, Brandon Baker. Our stylist Ervina Topalli fitted Jenny in beautiful gowns from Los Angeles Designer Julia Clancey. The bar was transformed from a local dive bar in to an upscaled jazz club by our Art Director Katie Shipley. The cast was great and were caught saying some pretty hilarious stuff while editing.
