Valentine’s Day is like amateur dating night. It’s a deadline for all the procrastinators trying to work up their nerve to ask out that special someone or it’s the date that has been reserved for over a month! Either way, expectations are high, restaurants are packed and parking sucks. So this year I have found what my Valentine would like the most – an intimate rooftop dinner with the most romantic 2 pound steak the butcher could offer. We’ll pair it with a Darioush 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, a buttery baked potato and sit back to watch the frantic couples try to get served at Bottega Louie. I know my Valentine will be pleased.
